i have enjoyed the comaraderie shown in the previous emails...of the
relatives and friends of Mt Moriah residents..I especially enjoyed reading how many
families....actually make "trips" and have picnics...with their past...My mom
and her friend would walk to the local cemetery in Maryland and eat lunch and
spend the afternoon....not at all thinking it was ODD or strange....(My moms
parents were from Ireland...her parents are buried in Holy Cross cemetery, in
Philadelphia) ..My Dad's family is buried in Section 53 of Mt Moriah....i would
like to contribute some time in the effort ...for restoration of Mt
Moriah...as well..i live in Florida and the distance makes it a bit difficult to
actually be present in Philly but if I can help in anyway...please let me know....
I wonder if a meeting can be scheduled...perhaps..in the springtime....for
all concerned....possibly contacting...all those who have done genealogy
research into Mt Moriah...etc.....Someone would have to stronghold..the PEOPLE in the
OFFICE for that information hahahahaha.....
Ok now im rambling.....I'll close now...also letting you know KEEP ME ON THE
LIST!!!!!!
