I wonder if they would transfer ownership to a new trust if they were
threatened with a class-action suit? Establish a new trust and do a
fund raiser to reestablish the financial basis for the maintenance
annuities. If they are broke, they cannot afford a lawyer. I'd almost
bet that the cemetery could be taken from them. I know that sounds
mean, and I don't really intend it that way, but it is clear that the
present caretakers (if that term really even applies here) are either
incapable or unwilling to do the right things. Therefore, remove them
from the equation and take positive steps to restore the property.
