Subject: [PA-QUAKERS] Concord MM Death Records: EYRE

My direct ancestor, Robert[3] EYRE, a Quaker, was born in Chichester, PA,
inherited some land in Brandywine, md: 1764 in DE and sometime between 1764
and 1775 moved to Berkeley, VA (WV).

Robert Eyre, from Concord to Hopewell, 11th day, 8th m, 1774
Ann Eyre and children John, Mary, Hannah, Sam'l, William, from Nottingham
to Hopewell 3rd day, 4th m, 1775.
They had two additonal sons, both adults, Robert[4] and Adam
EYRE. Robert[3] EYRE and family moved on to OH circa 1796. This would have
been from the Hopewell (VA) to the Short Creek (OH) meetings.

Robert EYRES of Chichester Meeting and Ann PRICE md: 23 Dec 1764. Ann
(PRICE) EYRE d: 7th of 2nd mo 1817. Robert EYRE d: 20th of 6th mo 1825,
aged about 81
It is unclear whether Robert[3] EYRE and wife, Ann, died in OH or returned
to PA before their deaths. Their deaths and dates are recorded in the
Concord MM Addendum.
My question is: if they had died in OH why would their deaths be recorded
in the Concord MM Addendum instead of the Short Creek MM records? We
haven't found any record in the Short Creek MM of their deaths yet.
