Sadie R. SNYDER
Sadie R. SNYDER, 80, of New Florence RD 1, died Tuesday, June 21, 1988,
in the North Hills Passavant Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born Dec. 3, 1907 in Fairfield Township, a daughter of the late
Leonard and Emma MILLER HOFECKER. She was a member of the Waterford Christian
Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bryon W. "Bud" SNYDER in 1984; a daughter,
Sara HENDRICKS, and 11 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann KISTENMACHER of Elkton, Md.; three
sons, Bryon W. "Bud" SNYDER Jr. of Allison Park, Pa.; Lawrence G. SNYDER
of New Florence RD 1, and Jane L. SNYDER of Ligonier RD 5; 11 grandchildren;
four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary ALTER and Athalene EDMISTON,
both of New Florence RD 1. and a brother, Ralph HOFECKER, of Bolivar RD
1.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and
7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Wolford-McCracken Funeral Home Inc., Ligonier,
where services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Sherrill Fitts
officiating. Interment will be in the Green Mountain Cemetery, Waterford.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Waterford Christian Church.
