SLOVICK, James

James Slovick, 73, died Sunday, March 3, 1963 in his home in R.D. 3
McDonald, following a lingering illness.
He was born Oct. 20, 1889 in Czechoslovakia.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Mary BRENKUS SLOVICK, he is survived by two
daughters, Mrs. Helen KOZARSKY of R. D. 3 McDonald, and Mrs Blanch HOMA,
of Carnegie, three sons, Charles of Valley St. McDonald, and Emile and
Joseph of RD 3 McDonald, two brothers, Florien, of RD3 McDonald, and
Charles of Chicago, IL and a sister Theresa SLOVICK of Smock. There are
11 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning in St. Mary's RC
Church, Cecil, in charge of the Rev. Fr. Peter Shirra. Burial was in
St. Mary's cemetery.
