Alva Dewey Hysong, 70, of 129 Ave D, Latrobe, died at Latrobe Hospital
at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday June 11, 1968. Born in Allegheny Co on February 15,
1968 the son of Amos and Elizabeth Milliken Hysong. Before coming to Latrobe
six months ago, he was employed as a ranch hand on a cattle ranch in Laramie
WY. A veteran of World War I, he served the the US Army in France. Survived
by two daughters, Mrs Lacey (Ilene) Hicks of Amityville NY, and Mrs Loyal
(Ellen) Cole of Seattle WA; seven grandchildren; brothers and sisters,
Mrs Bertha Witherell and Mrs Hazel Pierce of Olean NY, William E of Latrobe,
Harry M of Long Island NY, Andrew of Laramie WY, Charles of CT. Services
Saturday at Richard W Dell Funeral Home, Latrobe with Rev J Gordon Bechtel
officiating. Burial in Blairsville Cemetery.
