I am sorry I am not able to be of any help as I have not found the names of the parents of William Barbour who lived in Westmoreland County. I believe his parents settled in New York as his enlistment papers for the War of 1812 indicate that he enlisted in New York. I know he had a nephew also named William who lived in Pennsylvania and later in Illinois. I have been trying to locate relatives of this nephew, but have not had any success. I do not know the names of this nephew's parents either. If I learn anything more I will get in touch with you.
