Thomas SMILEY, formerly a resident of Robinson township, died at
Scroggsville, O., on the 30th, aged 82 years.

The Tarentum Sun says Harry C. BURCHINAL was drowned in two feet of water,
cramps having seized him.

On Barr St., Michael RYAN, aged 1 year.

On the 27th, at the residence of her son Jacob WHITMORE of Oakdale, Mrs.
____ WHITMORE .

At Carnegie on the 29th, of consumption, Miss Ada HOFFMAN, aged 35 years.
The remains were interred at Burgettstown, Rev. G. M. KERR conducting
services.

On the 21st, ult., at his residence at West Middletown, Alexander
MCCALMONT, aged 7* years. Deceased was a native of Mt. Pleasant township.
He was widely known as a public spirited and intelligent citizen. For forty
years he was a member and a trustee of Hickory U. P. church. He leaves a
wife and eleven children, one of whom is Mrs. VanEman LINDSEY, of Cherry
Valley.
