At Steubenville, on the 19th, Daniel ROBERTSON, brother of Mr. Robert
ROBERTSON, of this place.
Deceased is well known in McDonald, having lived here a long time. He left
McDonald the .time about eight months ago. Mr. ROBERTSON leaves a wife and
children.

At his home on Arabella St., on the 22d, Earl PATTERSON, aged 14 years.
Deceased was an orphan, and has been living with his uncle and aunt, Mr.
and Mrs. Wm. GLASS. He was sick only about a week before his death, which
was caused by an abscess.

On the 16th, John Gilmour, son of Mr. and Mrs. Minas D. GIFFIN, aged six
months.

Wm. E. STEWART, proprietor Hotel Grande at East Liverpool, went to his
father's farm, three miles out, and while at the barn was killed by
lightning.

Leonard BLAINE, 88 years old, a cousin of Jas. G. BLAINE died at his home
in Somerset Township on the 15th. His father Leonard BLAINE was an
Irishman, who immigrated in 1779 and settled on the farm where this son was
born, lived all his life and died.

Sunday evening Mr. BOYD and wife, an aged couple, driving a wagon across
Peters Creek, near Snowden, were overwhelmed by a flood and drowned.
