John A. TRIGGIANI, 77, of 414 Ridge Ave. Monessen, died Tuesday, Oct.
14, 1997, in Mon Valley Hospital, following a short illness.
He was born in Monessen on Sept. 8, 1920, a son of the late Frank and
Maria SALVINO TRIGGIANI.
Mr. TRIGGIANI attended Monessen Public Schools and was a veteran of
World War II, having served in the U. S. Army.
He retired in 1983 from the former Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh
Steel Corp. Where he worked as a craneman.
Catholic by faith, he was a member of the Mon Valley Association of
Retired Steelworkers (MARS) and the Monessen Elks 773.
On. Nov. 23, 1944, he married Catherine (HOLUB) TRIGGIANI, who survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Linda FAFALIOS of Monessen; a
daughter-in-law, Mary Lou TRIGGIANI of North Huntingdon Township, a sister
Lebra ZEMA of Van Nuys, Calif.; and three grandchildren, Nicole and Arlee
FAFALIOS, and John A. TRIGGIANI, Jr.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John A.
(Jack) TRIGGIANI, Jr.; three brothers, Gabriel, Joseph, and Dominic
TRIGGIANI; and a sister, Lena KRETEL.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7-9 in the
DALFONSO-BILLICK Funeral Home Inc., 441 Reed Ave., Monessen.
