Rev. Bert B. HARRISON, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, Ford City, died Monday morning, March 26, at his home there. He was born at East Rochester, Ohio, September 18, 1881. After graduation from the Lisbon High school, he attended Wooster college and was a member of the class of 1903. Mr. HARRISON was a graduate of the Princeton Theological seminary and received his master's degree from Princeton university. He began his work as pastor at West Middlesex, Pa., in 1906, later going to Girard, O. He belonged to the Presbytery of Pittsburgh for 12 years while serving the churches of Fairview and McDonald.

Three years ago, he became pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Ford City. Owing to ill health, he gave up his work December 1, 1927, going to Overbrook Sanitarium at New Wilmington, Pa.

Not being benefited, he entered the Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh, where it was learned that he was suffering from a serious form of heart trouble. Early in January he was taken to the manse of the Ford City church and after a lingering illness passed quietly away.

He is survived by his wife and son, Ernest, a student at Kiskiminetas academy; a brother, J. F. HARRISON, at Girard, Ohio, and a sister, Mrs. William HOOPES, of Kensington, O.

Funeral services were held in the church, Ford City, Tuesday evening, at eight o'clock. Interment was in Haywood cemetery at West Middlesex on Wednesday.
