Cecilia Elizabeth, the small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
O'ROURKE of Laurel Hill, died Thursday morning, August 17, at 1:20 o'clock,
aged eleven months and seventeen days. The funeral took place on Friday
morning at nine o'clock. Interment at Noblestown. Mrs. O'ROURKE was Miss
Mary GRIBBIN before her marriage.
Mrs. Elizabeth SUTHERLAND, 61 years old, died at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. John SAIX, in the East End, Monday morning at 10 o'clock,
following an illness of dropsy. Mrs. SUTHERLAND was twice married, her
first husband being Thomas WILSON. Following his death she was united in
marriage with Robert SUTHERLAND, who died about four years ago. Two sons,
James and Thomas WILSON of Bulger and two daughters, Mrs. Joseph THOMAS, and
Mrs. John SAIX survive. The funeral services were held at the SAIX home in
charge of the Rev. W. D. IRONS. Interment in Robinson's Run cemetery.
Fred CRITCHLEY's oldest daughter, aged nine, was buried last
Sunday in the Valley cemetery.

Armor VEASY of New Wilmington was buried from his late home on
Tuesday, August 22, at 11 a.m. His demise comes as a shock to his many
relatives in this locality.

Mrs. Robert CLELAND attended the funeral services of her cousin,
Miss Ella DUNCAN, near Burgettstown on Tuesday.
