Looking for relatives of Lt. William "Bill" Trescher. Bill was killed 12
November 1944 in Germany. I have copies of a newspaper article and a page
from "The Franklin and Marshall Alumnus" that describe his background and
military service. I also have a signed portrait of Bill dated 1946. I
would like to get these mementoes in the hands of a surviving family member.

Bill was a personal friend of our family. He was a civil engineer who
designed and supervised the building of the Jeannette HS football stadium
just prior to WW II. Bill's parents were Mr.&Mrs. John F. Trescher. A
brother, Fred B. Trescher, was a City Solicitor in Jeannette. He had two
other brothers, Dr. John H., Baltimore (in the 40"s) and Robert L.,
Philadelphia (40's) and a sister, Helen (Mrs. Harris C. Arnold, Lancaster, PA).

I'll appreciate any help in finding Trescher relatives.
