I am seeking information on the "Col. John Kelley, of militia fame, who owned
a large tract of land surrounding what is now Laurel Station on the York and
Peach Bottom Railway. He had a son Thomas Kelley, a lawyer, and daughter Mary
who married Dr. Mc Donald of Fawn Township."
This informatiom comes from the book, "History of York Co.,Pa....", by J. G.
Prowell, in the section on " Lower Chanceford Township". From the information
provided John must have been residing in Lower Chanceford Township, York
Co.,Pa. about 1776.
I would like to find more details on John Kelley and his family.
Best Regards,
Raymond Kelly
