Subject: Old Allegheny City missing streets & wards

RussMc1 remarked about the missing streets in the
=93Old First Ward of Allegheny City. In 1906
Allegheny City was annexed to the City of Pittsburgh
and two years later the pattern of wards was modified
and many street names changed because of duplication.
Rebecca Street in the 1st ward of Allegheny City=20
became Strouble Street and the ward was changed
to the 22nd Ward. The ward numbers for=20
Allegheny City when annexed are 22,23,24,25,26,
and 27 to the best of my knowledge. These are now
the North Side wards of the city of Pittsburgh.
