Subject: [PAALLEGH-L] Pittsburgh reverse directory?

In her testimony in her daughter's divorce case in 1903, my
gggrandmother, Harriet R. GILES, said that she was present at the
marriage in question and that it took place at her (Harriet's)
residence at 151-1/2 Wylie Ave. in Pittsburgh. Inasmuch as Harriet
GILES is very elusive -- finding info on her is like pulling teeth! --
I wondered if there were any way of finding out about said
residence: where it is, what neighborhood, etc. I'd like to know
because she apparently worked as a governess and/or housekeeper for a
wealthy family and I wondered if it could be their house. I've found
her in later years living in Brooklyn, NY in a very wealthy
neighborhood (it's quite the opposite now, although some of the
beautiful buildings remain) and don't know whether it was the same
family, etc., etc.

I guess my question is whether or not there's some kind of a reverse
directory for Pittsburgh in that time period (1903) or whether anyone
could tell about the location from the address. Forgive me, but I
have so few clues about her that I'm willing to sound dumb as I grasp
at any straw!<G>
