Hello all,
My Gr-Gr Grandfather Mayer, thats all we knew him by, supposedly
fell out of a rollercoaster car at the top of the rollercoaster called The BIG
DIPPER. In a drunken stooper, he stood up raised his arms and shouted " I'm
invincible" (or something like that). At which point he fell out, striking
every beam & crossmember on his way to the ground. After the authorities were
carring off the covered body, he sat up, yelled some obscenities got off the
gurney, and walked home.
My grandparents said it was in the papers but they didn't know what
year. The Amusement park I think was in Bellevue.
Has anyone else heard this story? I wonder how big it got over the
years?
