Dear Dev:

As I recall, the Big Dipper was at West View Park which was around Bellvue.
There was also an amusement park around Dravosburg (my directions may be off),
called Kennywood Park, but I think their roller-coaster was called the
Racer...That was a long time ago, so my memory isn't as sharp as it used to be
:)

I have no suggestions for you as to how to find the newspaper
coverage...without the year, or an approximation, it would be quite a task to
find. People fell or jumped out of the coaster cars more frequently than we
knew......Your relative was mighty lucky!

You might try the PAALLEGH-L "memories" list with your question...perhaps our
Listress, Clare, will provide you with the address. I'm sorry I didn't keep
it......
