I checked with some info another family member sent me and she shows David
Jewart and Rachael, his wife, in 1850 census. I don't have the paper in
front of me and can't recall exactly the twp. I beleive that it was North
Mahoney or Mahoganey???? that's not right, but I will have to get back to
you as I don't know your county's township names.

I also wonder if there is 1860 or 1870 census info available. They did not
come to Missouri until about 1870, so I don't know what census they were in.

In Sept. 1859 John and Isabelle Jewart had a child born in Armstrong Co. and
in 1861 they had a child born in Pittsburgh.

I really think that the 1850 census should show more info and maybe lead us
to parents info on John Jewart and Isabelle Porter. the info we found above
re: townships showed a Thomas Jewart in about the same area but did not list
John. David was already married and we are unsure of George.
