>From "History Of Mifflin Township To West Mifflin Borough", (a
bicentennial book), I find the following:

R. D. Thompson - He was appointed to a committee to organize a Fire
Department for Homeville at a meeting on May 13, 1909

J. A. Kirkland - Mifflin Township Public Schools, Board of Education -
1898-1900

F. F. Kirkland - received contract to build a one room school building
in Homeville - 1894

At the time this book was published there were a number of Thompsons
either on the book committee or serving the community. If you're
interested in these names contact me privately.

I saw no reference to Hope Church.

I hope this helps.
