When the colonies declared war on Britain, I believe that all military
aged men were asked to take an oath of allegiance to the new government.
I know that in Allegheny County, we have published some of the lists in
our quarterly, but I can't give you an exact reference right now. Let me
search PERSI, since WPGS doesn't yet have their CD, and I'll post to the
list asap. So, put your printer away.

Thanks for the compliment. I've learned a lot from answering questions,
because I think I know the answer, but generally look it up to see that
I'm not giving misinformation, so it helps me too.
