Subject: [ALL] McKeesport Cemeteries

just my two cents.... McKeesport area cemeteries may include:
-Versailles Cemetery, right near the downtown McK area, which
has many old wealthy family mausoleums, and it wonderfully eery!
-Grandview Cemetery ( i THINK it what it is called, although there is another
Grandview Cemetery off of rte 30/Lincoln Highway) - up the hill from
McKeesport High School
-Grandview Cemetery - off rte 30/Lincoln Highway in N. Versailles Twp
-St. Joseph Cemetery - Catholic Cemetery next to Grandview Cem - off rte
30/Lincoln Highway
-Temple B'Nai Brith (spelling????) Jewish Cemetery - in Versailles, south of
McKeesport - on Center Street on the hill overlooking the Youghiogheny River
-Mount Vernon Cemetery in Elizabeth Twp, near Youghiogheny Country Club -
remember, people in Elizabeth Twp in this area have a mailing address of
McKeesport 15135!!!!!!!!
-Holy Family Polish Catholic Church Cemetery - N. Versailles Twp take 148 to
Naysmith Road - at the top of the hill (newer)
-St. Marys Roman Catholic Cemetery (this is a Polish Catholic Church) - same
neighborhood - at the cross of Upper Heckman and Lower Heckman Roads
there are also many other small cemeteries here and there in neighboring
towns, which may be across the river (like Richland Cemetery in Dravosburg -
lots of people from 10th Ward area in McKeesport and also Glassport are
buried there!)
