This will probably not be appreciated by some of you "experienced" and
intolerant folks, but some of us are new to genealogy and are learning by
those questions you call "silly". I can't quantify the number of little
tidbits I've picked up by reading other people's "silly" questions and then
the answers. When people do go directly, I often wonder what the answer was,
many time's I e-mail the person with the question to find out what the answer
was. Please, please, remember we are not all as knowledgeable as you
obviously are.
