Subject: [ALL] Clintner/Klinkner family questions
Date: Fri, 3 Nov 2000 10:36:26 EST

I would soon like to organize my CLINTNER/KLINKNER information into an
organized format for publication. However before I even begin to think of
that, I need some questions answered.
As in all genalogical research, there are always mysteries and unsolved
questions that arise. The Clintner/Klinkner family is no exception. Among
our many puzzles, there still remains the following to be resolved:
1. Who is the Robert CLINTNER [and his wife] mentioned in this article of May
5, 1902 from the McKeesport Daily News?
Under PERSONALS AND OTHER NOTES ---
"Mrs. Robert Clintner, of Indiana Avenue, [Glassport] is reported quite ill
... "

2. Who is this Catherine KLINKNER?
"In 1973 St. Wendelin's published a book for the 100th anniversary of the
founding of the parish. ... the book states the first Marriage to be
performed at St Wendelin's was between William Seng and Catharine Klinkner
on Aug. 1874."
We have no Catherine KLINKNERs of this time span in our records, unless Mrs.
Catherine KLINKNER SENG was a widow of a Mr. KLINKNER; but even there it
seems we have no possible KLINKNER widow that would fit the right age and
location.

3. Who is this Elizabeth CLINTNER?
When the parents of Dorothy CLINTNER have a party for her 6th birthday for
her in McKeesport, among the guests is an Elizabeth CLINTNER. Again there is
no Elizabeth CLINTNER that would fit that age.

4. Who is the 2 year old Barbara Jean KLINKNER who died in 1960, buried at
Holy Souls Cemetery in Robinson Township, PA. and who are her parents?

5. Who is this Matthias KLINKNER?
Spouse: MRS. DOROTHY KLINKNER
Marriage: Abt. 1866
Allegheny Co., PA.
Info found in the LDS-FHC files; Source Information: Film #1903929 .

6. Whose wife of which KLINKNER is this?
We have the will of a 'Bessie' KLINKNER written in 1952. Elizabeth 'Bessie'
did not die until 1984. Her daughter, Bettie SULLIVAN inherited everything.

Any suggestions? Ideas? All welcomned.
