Hi all.... I joined last fall but have been in process of moving, etc....
finally settled and working on roots again.

One question.... does anyone know what "V-mail" means ... I guess what the
"V" means. I have a couple of V'mail letters fro 1942 & 1943 from the war.

Also my great grandparents George Robert Henderson, born 5/17/1879... and his
wife Clara Bell Alton (don't have birth or death dates)... came from
somewhere in England. My mother thinks it is something like Leister Square
but not sure of spelling or if it is absolutely correct.... does anyone know
of this town or how I can find if it exists. Also is there a way to find
great grandmother's birth or death dates... no sec. sec. # of course

Finally other great grandparents are Fredrick Kuskie and Anna Trasp Kuskie
... no dates on either (probably somewhere in the 1880's) and I think they
are from somewhere along the Poland/German borders.... how do I find info on
them.
Oh, also I think the Kuskie name (current spelling) could have been Keuske
... found that spelling somewhere on an old photo
