When I worked for the Pennsy, starting in 1945, there was an overnight
train to Buffalo that carried a Pullman car. If the OLD memory is
correct, the train number, then, was 914 and it left Pittsburgh around
10 PM. So if that was the train, which I believe it could have been, it
would have left the old Pennsylvania Station at 11th and Grant Streets.
If you want an accurate picture get one that shows the big arching train
shed. I was working there when it was razed. Mac
