MILLER, GRIMES, CRAIG, ROZANC

Mrs. Ella M. MILLER, 77, died Wednesday, January 1, 1936, in Dennison,
Ohio, after a lingering illness. Mrs. MILLER's husband was the late Parker
MILLER of Walkers Mills.
She is survived by the following daughters: Mrs. O. W. HARSHEY of
Dennison, Ohio, Mrs. MCELHANEY of North Fayette township, and Mrs. RISER
(?KISER) of McKees Rocks.
Her body was brought to the Marshall chapel last Friday where funeral
services were held Saturday afternoon, the Rev. Carl WHITE of the
Presbyterian church officiating. Burial was in the Oakdale cemetery.

George GRIMES, 78, died at 4 a.m., Thursday, January 9, 1936, in his home
in North avenue, McDonald.
He was born April 3, 1857, in County Down, Ireland. At the age of nine his
parents came to the United States and first settled in Ironton, Ohio.
Several years later Mr. GRIMES obtained work in the McDonald coal mines. In
1878 he was united in marriage with Sara Ann LEWIS, who survives him. In
1883 he built the house in which he died, one of the first dwellings in this
locality.
Twelve children were born to Mr. and Mrs. GRIMES, of whom seven are living.
They are: Thomas GRIMES of Valley street, McDonald; Henry of West Los
Angeles, Calif.; William of Steubenville, Ohio; Elizabeth, at home;
Catherine, the wife of Harry P. MAUST of Washington; Sarah, the wife of
Daniel MCLAUGHLIN of Steubenville, Ohio, and Mary, the wife of K. G. SNYDER
of Charleston, W.Va. Margaret, a Red Cross nurse died October 9, 1919, in
Camp Lee, Virginia. Two sons George and Charles are dead, and two other
children died in infancy.. There are 14 grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren. One grandson, Thomas GRIMES, is at home.
The funeral will be held Saturday with requiem high mass at nine o'clock in
St. Alphonsus' church. Burial will be in the Noblestown cemetery.

Mrs. Alda MORROW CRAIG, wife of Ralph CRAIG of Hammond, Ind, died Friday,
December 27, 1935 in the hospital.
She is survived by her husband and a daughter Darlene at home. also by
three sisters, Mrs. Zachary FIGLEY of Brookfield, Ohio, Mrs. John MORROW of
Hopewell, Mrs. Howard Hamilton of Clinton, and two brothersW. H MORROW of
Coraopolis and Harrow MORROW of Hopewell.
She was born in Hookstown, Beaver county an lived the greater part of her
life in Beaver county, moving to Indiana several years ago. She was well
known to people in and round Clinton.
Funeral services were held in the New Bethlehem church, the Rev. S. G. NEAL
officiating. Burial was in the Bethlehem cemetery.

Mrs. Mary ROZANC, ** of R. D. 4 McDonald, died Thursday, January 2, 1936,
in the Canonsburg hospital of heart trouble. She leaves her husband and
nine children, two of whom are twin sons born December 27, 1935. Funeral
services were held Sunday. Burial was in Cecil.
