Reed GALBRAITH, aged 66 years, one of the oldest residents of
Burgettstown, and for many years an elder in the First United Presbyterian
church, died very suddenly Thursday evening at 8 o'clock. He is survived by
his wife, a son, Welsh GALBRAITH, and a daughter, Mrs. Aaron LYLE, both of
Washington, Pa. Funeral services will be held on Saturday.

Mrs. Elizabeth MCNARY, widow of the late Samuel MCNARY, died at
her home in Hickory, Thursday night, January 25, aged seventy-nine years.
She had resided in Hickory all of her life, and is survived by F. M. MCNARY
and Mrs. J. S. ACHESON of Hickory, D. M. MCNARY of Ingram, and A. G. MCNARY
of Sheridan. The funeral services were held Saturday at eleven a.m. in the
United Presbyterian church, Hickory.

Mrs. James MAWHINNEY died at the age of 50 years, on Friday,
Jan. 26, at her home in Traveskyn. All of her life was spent in that
vicinity, and for many years she was a member of the Bethany Presbyterian
church of Bridgeville. She is survived by her husband and eight children:
Misses Laura, Bessie, and Martha MAWHINNEY at home, Mrs. John HICKMAN,
residing near Boyce Station, and Mrs. John CUBBAGE of Cecil, and three sons,
Irving, Anderson and Arthur MAWHINNEY. The funeral was held Monday.

Mrs. Richard CONLEY was called to Allegheny City to the
death-bed of her father, Hugh RONEY, Jr., on Friday morning of last week.
Mr. RONEY was forty-seven years of age. Funeral was held from the home of
his mother in Wilkinsburg Monday morning at 9:30.

Mr. and Mrs. G. W. SMITH were summoned to Pittsburg last week by
the death of Mrs. Christine SOFFEL, Mrs. SMITH's mother. Funeral services
were held Sunday afternoon.
