Al,
It was two or three blocks up from the Carlton; and on the same side of the street .
Within the 4 walls was a courtyard, a lovely chapel and the convent ; and of course the classrooms.

If my dad was alive, I could get the answer from him as he worked in
old #3 Engine and Truck Co, located on Webster next door to the
Carlton but, to be honest, I've never heard of it. Being that close
to Grant St, I would imagine that it was a magnificient old church
but............... I never heard of it. I'll have to check the old
maps to see what transpired.
