One more thing.
Get your hands on "The History of Venango County" publ by Brown, Runk & Co,
1890. Most of the answers to your genealogical questions can be found on
pages 1068 and 1069. Ancestry.com has the whole book online, but there may
be other online sources as well. Didn't go that far. I'd guess the Venango
Co Genealogical Society has a hard copy in their shelf collection.
