I have been searching for over 30 years for my William and Fanny CARNAHAN
WOODS family who was living in Freeport, Armstrong Co, PA at the time of
the 1850 census. By 1855, they were in Jackson Co, IA.
I cannot find any clues proving their parentage. I am wondering if there
might be a newspaper for the time frame between 1850 and 1855 that might at
least give a clue as to when they left Pennsylvania, and perhaps some
comment about their families.
I know this is grasping at straws, but after all these years I am "frantic"
to see if I can't find some sort of clue so that I can either give up or get
on with this family.
Thanks for any help!!!!!
Gayle
