The Lankerd Thomas Genealogy Library in Kittanning is open and running. We do get so far behind with answering requests, that I cash the checks so as not to disrupt checking accounts more than I have to. We only have 1 and sometimes 2 persons answering letters and I get bound up with library/secretary tasks. I'm sure if we cash the check, your letter is in the stack of requests. We put them in the order in which they come in (by postal date) and we have just started working on June. I do appologize. I try to go in on an off day and just answer letters, but this summer I have been otherwise occupied. I would like to do some research on my own surnames, but can't get time to do that either !!
