Hi everyone,

I am looking for the family of SNOOK. Original family settled in Beaver Co.
around 1800 from Amwell, Hunterdon Co. New Jersey. First to arrive I
believe was Casper Snook with his wife Esther GILLIAN I am not sure where
they were married or when. Both Casper and wife Esther are buried in same
cem. as brother Peter and Mary. Casper b: 5/5/1781 m: 11/16/1799 or 1800 at
least 7 children. Moved to Richland, Ohio about late 1830' early 1840's.
Taking with them my Peter and Mary ABER SNOOK with 9 of their 10 children
both families went to Ohio together. The person I am really looking for was
Casper's brother Peter SNOOK b: 10/29/1777 d:12/3/1851 Fairfield, Jefferson
Co. Iowa and his wife Mary ABER b: 11/17/1779 d: 10/29/1858 both buried in
Evergreen Cem., Jefferson Co., Iowa. Peter and Mary arrived I think Beaver
Co. 1801. They were married 11/16/1800 at Mendham, Essex Co. New Jersey.
Their seems to be other Snook's some with the same first names they may be
from Sussex, New Jersey. I am trying to straighten out who is who. My
Snook's are Peter and Mary ABER Snook. According to the 1820 census they 1st
appeared in Liberty, Tioga Co. Pa. where all of their children were born 10
in total. Question which list would Tioga Co. Pa. come under? I think that
my SNOOK'S lived in Beaver Co. and may have lived with his brother Casper
before they went to Liberty. Peter and Casper both fought in the War of
1812 in the same company. Both registered members of the War of 1812. Any
information would be greatly appreciated. I can be reached at
Hope everyone has a happy holliday. Thank you Virgina
