This post requesting Campbell info. led me to take a shot in the dark with a dead
end for me. I only have names and sketchy info to go on and wonder if these lines
could be related...

I have a Joseph McMAKEN, Sr., b. Cumberland Co. PA. Married in PA to Elizabeth
CAMPBELL, daughter of Andrew CAMPBELL and Jane GETTYS (the county biography book
I have mentions Jane's brother William founded Gettysburg). Joseph and Elizabeth
(Campbell) McMaken moved to Hamilton Co. Ohio where they had Joseph Jr. and John
McMaken, my ancestor, John being born 11 May 1791.

Any connections?
