Looking for information on Samuel Clark and also the area where he died.

Below is a paragraph I received from a message.
SAMUEL CLARK born abt. 1738 probably in Hagerstown, Maryland died abt.
1784 Raccoon River Washington Co. Pa. (or is it possble this is Beaver
Co. Pa.?) He married Elanore (Nellie)
Violette. She was the widow of John Lyttleton.
Need information on this family. Have found nothing on Sam and Nellie
for some 10 years now.
Would appreciate any help. Thanks Mike

Re Raccoon Creek/River:
you
may already know that it is in the northern part of Washington County,
PA.
See towns of Burgettstown and Midway. Land records show deed transfers
by
Richard and Hannah Vaughn, Hannah's Wilson relatives, and Abraham Vaughn

(in
his will) in Smith, Robinson, Hanover Townships in this area. Abraham
Vaughn left property to his daughter Hannah Comley on Harmon's Run,
another
creek there. This should be a fertile area for Clark descendants to
explore, since it appears that Samuel Clark died there.
