NAMES--BEVINGTON--BUMPUS--HISSONG--GRUBAUGH.

Especially any BEVINGTON coming to america. Starting at your earliest.

Needing help.--It seems that the science of computers is not fully understood even by the manufacturer. Maybe someone on my lists might know the answer.

My problem--I have a 56bps modem. I can only receive 23 bps. I had this problem on my first computer and after several attempts with my server for help I finally received help from a lady at bright.net. From there on out I was able to get 56 bps.

Alas, I bought a new computer--same problem. I can't remember what the lady told me to do. I don't know who she is.

The rest of them from the computer manufactuuuurer to bright.net want to say that it is the telephone lines. Having solved this problem once I can not believe this. Any suggestions???????????
