I feel I have to respond to the recent complaints about B.F. Jones Library
in Aliquippa. I have not heard anything about this $50:00 fee so can not
respond to that. But as a user of the library I have to say the staff are
more than helpful every time I need them. The fee is no doubt necessary to
maintain the facility. As far as I am concerned,they have the best microfilm
of local papers west of the Burgh & have helped me many times to break a
wall. As Cathy said Tristate does have a great research program but they
are not as close as Aliquippa. As far as the business of being in a
dangerous location I have been accosted more in Beaver Falls than I ever
have in Aliquippa & don't think it is necessary to scare anyone away. Anyhow
