No, my Dawson family came originally from Prince Georges County Md and
Calvert County Md, they moved west thru Frederick ( part of which became
Montgomery County Md..the family still owns the farm there) . But my
husband's family came thru the same territory as Germans. Some of them came
from Carroll Co Md. I do not know any Dawsons from Chester, nor many German
families from there.
Try the Frederick Co roots search.
