To obtain information on old wills fax, e-mail, or mail your request to the
Register of Wills.
Provide us with the name of the deceased and the date of death. We will
only research a 5 year span if you do not know the date of death. We will
notify you of the cost of the copies for any information we find. You must
then send us the money along with a self addressed stamped envelope. Fees
for copies are $1.00 per page.
Old Orphans Court records consist of miscellaneous information such as
widow's appraisements, estate audits, sale of real estate, etc. The
information available is from 1804 through 1897. The same procedure as
stated above applies
