Hello List,

The following two new books are now available from the Beaver County
Genealogical Society.
1. Delayed Birth Registration Index of Beaver County Pennsylvania

Delayed birth certificates were authorized by a law
passed in the Pennsylvania
General Assembly in 1941 to provide proof of birth for
persons who were born
prior to 1906 and who needed this information to apply
for benefits under the
Social Security Act. The earliest birth record would
be 1872. The people filled out
a standard form with lots of wonderful genealogical
information on it. Instructions
for obtaining a copy of the certificate are included
in the book. 133 pages/acid
free paper/soft cover. COST: $12.50 postage paid/PA
sales tax is an additional 75 cents.

2. Frankfort Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery

This cemetery is located in the borough of Frankfort
Springs, Hanover Township,
Pennsylvania. The book includes tombstone records and
biographical sketches of
most of the families. It is fully indexed. 139
pages/acid free paper/soft cover. COST: $12.50 postage paid/PA
sales tax is an additional 75 cents.
