Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer.
 Jacob BRUCE was born ca 1807 in PA, probably Beaver Co. He married (1)
Catherine Todd. She died and is buried in Mt Carmel Cemetery in
Aliquippa, PA. He married (2) Jane ?, who was born ca 1818 in PA. Jacob
died 1872 and is also buried in Mt Carmel Cemetery. Jane died 1897 and is
buried beside her husband.
Children of Jacob and Jane (as listed in the 1850 and 1860 Fed Census for
Hopewell Twp, Beaver Co, PA) were:  John - bn ca 1835 in PA; William - bn
ca 1841 in PA; Isabella - bn ca 1843 in PA; Charles - bn ca 1845 in PA
(my husband’s gr-grandfather); Eliza Jane - bn ca 1848 in PA; Sarah M -
bn 1850 in PA; Travena - bn ca 1852 in PA; Castleman - bn ca 1856 in PA;
Martha - bn ca 1859 in PA. Other known children were: Catherine E,
George, Margaret & Sarah - all buried in Mt Carmel Cemetery.
Also listed in the 1850 Fed Census for Hopewell Twp, Beaver Co, PA was
the family of Charles and Margaret BRUCE. This family consisted of: 
Charles - bn ca 1803 in PA; Margaret - bn ca 1796 in PA; Daniel - bn ca
1827 in PA; David - bn ca 1828 in PA; William - bn ca 1830 in PA; Rebecca
J - bn ca 1832 in PA; Hannah - bn ca 1834 in PA; Joseph R - bn ca 1836 in
PA; James R - bn ca 1836 in PA; Robert - bn ca 1838 in PA.
Were Jacob and Charles BRUCE brothers?
Charles BRUCE, son of Jacob and Jane, married Phoebe J SHRODES, dau of
Samuel and Margaret McCLINTOCK SHRODES, bn ca 1845 in PA. Children of
this family (as listed in the 1870 and 1880 Fed Census for Hopewell Twp,
Beaver Co, PA) were:  Nettie - bn ca 1869 in PA; Samuel S - bn Mar 1871
in PA (my husband’s grandfather); Lilly G - bn ca 1873 in PA; Cass L - bn
ca 1875 in PA; Elsie C - bn ca 1876 in PA; ` Jennie O - bn Jun 1879 in
PA. Neither Charles or Phoebe are listed in the 1900 Census. Did they die
prior to that time?
According to the 1900 Fed Census for Monaca, Beaver Co, PA Samuel S BRUCE
married Mary ? ca 1893. She was born Sep 1872 in Indiana (don’t know
where). They had no children. Samuel is not listed in the 1910 Census for
PA or IN. However, in the 1920 Census for Rochester 1 Ward, Beaver Co, PA
Samuel is listed with his second wife, Anna SARSFIELD, and their
daughter, Margaret Fay Bruce.
Seeking: answers to above questions as well as any info, relatives,
descendants; particularly who was Samuel S Bruce’s first wife, what
happened to her, where was Samuel S in 1910?
