Cathy,
It seems that you have access to early church records
in the Beaver Falls / New Brighton area. I have a
Hannah MARSHALL that is found in the church
records in Connecticut indicating that her membership
was transfered from New Brighton M.E. Church, PA.
I was wondering if she or her husband, Joseph
SENIOR had been a member at any other area
churches.
She married Joseph SENIOR about 1857. In the
Connecticut church records there is mention of
another SENIOR family (Emma SENIOR) moving
to Beaver Falls Presbyterian Church in the 1870s.
Hannah MARSHALL and Joseph SENIOR came
from England, probably seperately and maybe from
Sheffield.
She is in the 1850 census with another family:
PA Beaver Borough Township 1850 750 64
William Boyd
MARSHALL, Hannah -age 14 b. Pa
And possibly a sister with another family close by:
PA Beaver Borough Township 1850 750 64
Rowan family
Marshall, Jane age 8 b Pa
If there is any way to look for these names in local
church records, I'd appreciate the help.
Thank you,
Ginny Echelberger
