Marianne, you can see a list of those buried in Old Stone cemetery at the url below. My suggestion to finding directions how to get to it, is to post a question to the Beaver County Genealogical Society (where the list is found). I'm sure they will know. Good luck, Carol in AZ

p.s. I have Inman ancestors buried there.

Subject: [PABeav'r] Old Stone Methodist Church Cemetery

Hello Beaver County Listers,

Can anyone out there tell me the exact location of the Old Stone Methodist
Church Cemetery? My Powers ancestors are buried there.

I was out there last week, and went to the location I thought it would be.
It was supposed to be in Chippewa Township, on Church Lane. It is a very
small, dead end street, and there were a few "no trespassing" signs on the
left side of the road. I went to the end of the road anyway, but found no
cemetery. I did find a house, and a old barn or shack, but nothing else. Is
this road private property now, with no public access to the cemetery?

Does anyone know if this cemetery still exists? Or can you refer me to
someone who might know more about it?

Thanks for any help.

I was so close, yet so far,
Marianne
back home in California
