Folks,

The other day I was looking at the Westmoreland Co, Pa USGenWeb site under
county resources. I found a page for the SW PA Genealogical Services in
Laughlintown. I did not get a chance to really review their site, but it
looked to me like information form their book "Pennsylvania Line". Roots
web is down right now, so I cannot get back into it to get the URL and to
really review that link. However, if they have reprinted this WONDERFUL
book, I highly recommend that everyone researching in PA get a copy!!!! It
has all the township maps and so much more, I just cannot even begin to put
it in this e-mail. If anyone knows what I am talking about, do you have
the URL to SW PA Gen Services?

Now, another very pricey book, but worth every penny is a book called
"Township Atlas of the United States". It is a huge map book of every
state, county and township in the ENTIRE U.S. The price of this book is
$85.00 and you can get it from

I have never regretted spending this amount of money on this book, because
of what it has been able to tell me, with a flip of the page and having my
answers right there.

I don't know of any URL's to this type of information on the net, but maybe
someone else does. meg
