Hello,

I am new to the list and am hoping someone out there might have come across
something in their own search to help me go back further than my
great-grandmother's parents. I have two clippings on my great-grandmother,
Annabell Wigfield Harvey. The first one is an announcement of a 50-year
wedding anniversary and the second is her obituary.

1."HARVEY - Mrs. Annabell, 76 of Hollsopple RD 2, died at 4:30 pm June 25,
1956, at home of a daughter, Mrs. Eva Kline. A full-blooded Cherokee
Indian, she was born April 22, 1880 on a Cherokee Settlement, near Six Mile
Run, Bedford County, a daughter of William and Jane (Bartholow)
Wigfield. Survived by husband, Charles H., and three daughters - Mrs.
Mildred Fisher and Mrs. Lillian Amma, both of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Eva
Kline, mentioned; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in
death by two daughters - Mrs. Emma Eash and Mrs. Violet Petterson. Friends
received in Kline residence, Hollsopple, RD 2, where services will be held
at 2 pm, Thursday, Rev. Harry Shetler and Rev. Irvin
Holsopple. Internment, Kauffman Mennonite Church Cemetery
(Johnstown). Arrangements in charge of John Henderson Company."

2."2 On North Side To Celebrate"
"Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harvey, of the North Side, will celebrate their
fiftieth wedding anniversary at a family gathering Saturday afternoon.
The couple was married in Baltimore, Md., April 16, 1905. Harvey was 76
years of age on April 7 and his wife will be 75 on April 22.
Harvey was formerly in the poultry business in Somerset County and now is
retired. He spends his time taking care of his wife who has been an
invalid for the past five years due to arthritis.
They have been living with their daughter, Mrs. Lillian Amma, of 857
Peralto St., where the party will be held. They have two other daughters,
Mrs. Mildred Fisher and Mrs. Eva Kline, of Johnstown, Pa."


My great-great grandmother is then Jane Bartholow Wigfield, and I have some
information that her mother was Jane Pennell Bartholow who died 30
September 1922 and was 88 years old, so that means she was born in 1844.

Does anyone have any suggestions, tips, info on these people?
