We have been researching in Bedford County and found, who we think are our 4th great grandparents, Philip and Catherine/Christina Folk. I just found out who they were in a land transfer in Huntingdon County, PA. Philip and Catherine gave most of their land and belongings to their daughter and son in law, Sophia and William Oss, because of old age, in exchange for Philip his wife and two other daughters, Elizabeth and Margaret (FOLK) Minnick to live with William and Sophia till they die. That was in 1841, We think we found them in Bedford County in 1850, not living with William and Sophia. William and Sophia Oss are found in Allegany Co, MD.
