I am forwarding this to the list in hopes that someone in Bedford can answer
this man's question for him...

I just returned from a genealogy trip to Bedford county and during the many
trips to the court house, never did I find a Register of Deaths!!!

The staff all assured me that birth and death records had been sent New
Castle. So on the way home I stop at New Castle intending to ask for death
records for Wolfords between 1893 and 1941.

The clerk said she only had death records from 1906 forward. You probably
can imagine what was going through my mind. Where are the records prior to
1906?

Maybe you can help me on this? If Drusilla Wolford died on 24 Nov 1893 and
it was recorded, then I figure the following deaths must also have been
record: Elizabeth Wolford (nee May) 2/21/1893

Levi Carpenter 1/26/1895

Adam F. Wolford 8/4/1895

Frederick Mowry 9 Nov 1903
Would you look on my behalf? If you are willing, note the book, page and
parents of each. Thank you in advance!!
