Kiser, Ann Eliza Wagner, Obituary, Bedford Gazette, January 26, 1900, Mrs. Ann Eliza Kiser was born in Shippensburg December 27, 1818, and died at her home in Bedford January 24, 1900. she was the oldest child of a large family, being the daughter of David and Eliza Wagner. In 1839 she was united in marriage to William Kiser of Shippensburg. After their Marriage they moved to Mercersburg and from there in 1848 to Bedford, where they resided until called to their eternal home. Descendent was the mother of ten children, six of whom are living, namely, David O, Joseph and William Kiser, Mrs. Elizabeth Baker, of Pittsburg; Mrs. James I Shires of Mansfield, O, and Miss Flora Kiser of Bedford. She is also survived by her brother, John C Wagner of the Shippensburg News. Her husband died in 1888. Mrs. Kiser was a lifelong member of the Methodist Episcopal church. the funeral service will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Mrs. Kiser was and exemplary woman. Many noble acts bejewel the pages of her life's history.
