Rev. Charles RINEHART, of Everett, was in town on Monday.

Mr. R. A. STIVER made a business trip to Cumberland Wednesday.

Mrs. Mary A. BUTTS, of Loysburg, was in Bedford on Monday.

Mr. Andrew WEIMER, of Hopewell, was in Bedford on Monday.

Miss Sarah MARDORFF arrived home last Saturday evening from Saxton.

Mr. H. E. RIGHTNOUR, of Pleasantville, was in Bedford last Saturday.

Mr. William BRICE, Jr., left Tuesday on a business trip to Harrisburg.

Mr. C. M. WALLACE, of Pine Ridge, was a visitor in Bedford on Tuesday.

Mr. George HANCOCK, of Imler, transacted business in Bedford on Saturday.

Miss Julia WERTZ returned last Friday from a visit with friends in Derry,
Pa.

Mr. and Mrs. Scott SMITH and two sons, of Kearney, spent Monday in Bedford.

Mr. Walter PRICE, of Cresson, visited at his parental home in Bedford this
week.

Mrs. Joseph GEPHART and Russel GEPHART, of Safe Harbor, Pa., are visiting in
Bedford.

Miss Olive ENFIELD left last Saturday to spend several weeks with friends in
Lancaster.

Mr. Walter PRICE, of Huntingdon, is the guest of his parents, Ex-Sheriff and
Mrs. David PRICE.

Dr. H. C. LESSIG, a well known physician of Rainsburg, was a visitor in
Bedford last Friday.

Ex-County Commissioner Jonas IMLER, of Imler, was among last Saturday's
visitors here.

Dr. George PRICE, of Altoona, was guest this week of his brother, Ex-Sheriff
David PRICE.

Postmaster John LUTZ was confined to the house on Wednesday and Thursday
with a bad cold.

Miss Josephine DAVIDSON returned, Sunday from a visit with friends in
Altoona and Wilkinsburg.

Dr. Walter McCOY, of the U. S. Marine Hospital Corps, is visiting his
mother, Mrs. Mary McCOY.

Mr. A. C. RICHARDS, of New Paris, is very low with an attack of pneumonia,
having suffered a relapse.

Miss Annie ELLENBERGER returned home on Tuesday after spending a month in
Cumberland and Johnstown.

Mr. Samuel BEEGLE, of Hollidaysburg, was a guest at the home of Mr. Plummer
JAMES Monday night and Tuesday.

Mr. Lewis PITTMAN, of West Providence, the well known county auditor, was a
visitor in Bedford on Tuesday.

Mr. Ross LEE, the efficient demonstrator of the State Agricultural Society,
was in Clearfield on Monday and Tuesday.

Miss Anna WILLIAMS, for a number of years stenographer for Blackburn Russell
Co., is still quite ill at her home at Danville, Pa.

Jury Commissioner Darwin P. WRIGHT, of Pleasantville, accompanied by his
daughter, Miss Wyzetta Bay WRIGHT, was in Bedford on Monday.

Mr. Sylvester MICKEL, the efficient salesman for Blackburn Russell Co., left
on Wednesday to attend the annual Methodist Conference at York, Pa.

Mr. A. F. FOOR, a well known lumberman of East Providence township, was a
visitor in Bedford on Monday. Mr. FOOR is a candidate for County
Commissioner.
