STRAY SHEEP.

Came to the premises of the Subscriber, in Providence township, some time
last summer, two stray Sheep--one a Ram and the other a Ewe. The Ram has
both ears cut off--and the Eve has both ears cropped and a small round piece
cut out under each ear.--The owner is requested to come forward, prove
property, pay charges, and take them away. CHRISTOPHER BARINGER. Nov. 30,

Those having accounts unsettled on Books of Peter SCHELL are requested to
toe the mark, or they will be left with a proper officer for collection.

Saddle, Bridle, and Harness Manufactory in the Borough of Bedford, one door
west of the Post Office.

The subscriber respectfully informs the public that he has opened a shop in
the Borough of Bedford for the purpose of Manufacturing Saddles, Bridles,
Martingales, valisses, Harness of every description, Trunks and Saddle Bags,
together with every other article in the line of his profession. His
charges will be moderate, and he pledges himself that his work shall be
executed in the most durable and Fashionable manner.

From his long experience in the Business, and the attention he will bestow
upon it, he hopes to merit and receive a liberal share of public patronage.

CAUTION.

Whereas, my wife Maria, left my bed and board on Friday the 23d day of
November, without any just cause, this is to caution all persons from
trusting or harboring her on my account, as I am determined to pay no debts

There will be sold, by Public Sale, by the subscriber, by an Order of the
orphan's Court, on Wednesday, the 26th day of December next, on the
premises, the house and lot of ground, now occupied by the Widow Maria
SCHELL, situate in Schellsburg, corner of Pittsburg and market streets.

Also at the same time and place, 50 acres of land situate in Napier
Township, one mile from Schellsburg, adjoining lands of Peter MOWRY, Richard
EWALT's heirs, James BERRY, and John REILY's lands--and bounded on one side
by the Shawnees Cabin Creek.

Also 27 Shares of Stock in the Bedford and Stoystown Turnpike Road Company,
One share of Stock in the Huntingdon, Cambria, and Indianna (sic) Turnpike
Road Company. Also a claim and judgment on the same Company. Also Five
Shares of Stock in the Stoystown and Greensburg Turnpike Road Company. Also
one pair of new Allegheny Mill Stones measuring 3 feet and _ inches diameter
and several small pair of Stones suitable for Shelling Stones, as the
remaining property unsold of the Estate of Jacob Schell, deceased. Sale to
commenced at 10 o'clock, A. M. when the conditions of sale will be made

There will also be sold at the same time and place 100 Acres of Woodland
situate on Chesnut (sic)Ridge, in said township, adjoining land of Henry
SCHELL, Michael KEMMER and others, and one Share of Turnpike Stock, as the

Executors' Notice.

Notice is hereby given that Letters Testamentary have been granted by the
Register of Bedford County to the Suscribers as Executors of the Last Will
and Testament of Jacob RECK, late of Bedford township, Bedford County,
deceased, and that all persons indebted to said estate are hereby requested
to make payment--and those having claims against the same are hereby
notified to present them duly autheniticated for settlement.

Modlene RECK, Executrix, Daniel RICKLE, Executor, of Jacob RECK, deceased.
Nov. 30, 1838.

N. B. The Books, Notes, and papers, &c. are in the hands of Daniel RICKLE,
on whom persons having claims to present and payments to make will call at
his residence in Bedford Township.
